The Impact of the Implementation of Host Controller USB 3.1 Gen 1 Driver Within Operating System on the Quality of Multimedia Data Transport Services

Abstract


Some papers present how to ensure the quality of delivered services (QoS) in the USB port, but unfortunately already are outdated, referring to the obsolete version of USB 2.0. Consequently, there was a need to propose a new approach for the newest version USB 3.1. The mentioned approach was presented in [2]-[4]. However, it was a need to modify and complement presented issue, so it was done in this paper.  Moreover, the statistical test was presented, which can be used to evaluate the impact of computer system on the QoS.
