Concept of expert system for evaluation and improvement of eco-efficiency of mines

The paper presents concept of structure of an expert system for complex estimation and optimization of coal mines in terms of their eco-efficiency. Complexity and diversity of technological processes cause the construction complexity of the expert system, which objective is analysis of any Polish mine. The analyzed system is not a classical expert system but rather computer system, which with the use of various tools realizes an advisory function for management of a mining company.
