Academic information base as an application of Se­man­tic Web technologies

WWW we know today is full of information accessible only for human readers. Changing WWW according to Semantic Web vision will allow us to treat Internet as an machine-processable distributed database of ontologically described information. The article presents some way of creating such database for academic community.
