Analysis of software and hardware requirements for the computer vision platform

Abstract


The aim of this article is to present the Computer Vision Platform which was created to enable the multimedia data storage. The platform is equipped with devices necessary for image acquisition and management. Moreover the programs utilized for multimedia data processing are also presented. One of the crucial concerns, while the hardware and software design, was the easy accessibility of the proposed solution through the cost limitation.
