A method of positioning search results in music information retireval systems

The article describes modification of the PageRank text search engine results ranking algorithm. An assessment of its suitability in use in music information retrieval system has been made. Authors propose new MusicPageRank algorithm that is described in article and is based on existing connections (links) between Websites and music files. With using these connections, a new method of creating rank for music search engine results, independent from the user query, have been developed.
