Impact of the intraview prediction on the H264 MVC stream bitrate

Abstract


Transmission of multiview video is a new challenge to network transmission systems. The primary concern is to minimize the required bandwidth while maintaining acceptable quality of the video content. This article presents how the selection of intraview prediction affects the bitrate of the video streams encoded by the JMVC codec.
