LEXO: a lexical layer for ontologies – design and building scenarios

Anna Wróblewska, Grzegorz Protaziuk, Robert Bembenik, Teresa Podsiadły-Marczykowska

The paper describes a lexical layer for ontologies and scenarios of its population. This layer extends lexical descriptions of the given ontology. It defines terms and their lexicalized meanings (given with contexts) associated with elements in the ontology. Additionally, it provides links to commonly used lexical knowledge resources.
