Analysis of data transfer from mass storage to computer for USB 2.0 and Firewire 400

Abstract


This article presents and discusses the results of measurements of time of the data transfer from mass storage to a computer for USB and FireWire ports. The measured values of the times were confronted with the results estimated in the theoretical analysis in the article [1]. Comparison of estimated and measured values of the times allowed to show the advantages and disadvantages of USB and FireWire ports
